Enjoy the adventure of mountains in the Soleiga Apartments & Rooms

Val Gardena is worth a trip in every season and attracts both in summer and winter with a multifaceted outdoor offer that makes your holiday unique.

For centuries, the spectacular rock formations of the Dolomites have been a place of longing for many nature lovers. This mountain group is correctly called one of the most beautiful in the world, in the year 2009 parts of the Dolomites were even included in the UNESCO World Heritage list. A recognition we are particularly proud of, because these mountains are our home.

Here in South Tyrol, boredom is an unknown word. The range of leisure activities is so large and the opportunities to actively experience the Dolomites are endless.

In summer, Val Gardena is not only a paradise for hikers, but also for mountain bikers and climbers. Even food lovers will have a lot to try: numerous traditional alpine huts invite to fully enjoy the delicious South Tyrolean cuisine.
For many hikes and tours you can start directly from our house and we will be more than glad to give you some extra insider tips.

Thinking about the cold season, idyllic snowy winter landscapes are not a rarity in the Dolomites. Val Gardena offers you the best conditions to practice your favourite winter sport!
Skiers and snowboarders can enjoy 1,200 km of perfectly prepared slopes in the largest ski area of the world, the Dolomiti Superski. The Gardena Ronda, Sellaronda, First World War Ski tour and the Ski World Cup slope ‘Saslong’ are terms you will surely remember after your ski holiday in the Dolomites.
But going on an activity holiday in Val Gardena means a lot more than just skiing! You can discover the valley from a completely new side. In fact, Val Gardena is also a lovely destination for cross country skiing, snowshoeing, sledging and ice-skating.
And if you want to take it a bit more leisurely, you can have a good time strolling through the towns of the three tourist towns Selva, S. Cristina and Ortisei.
